PhotoFantasy Quick Start
Main Display Area: This area lets you select fantasy backgrounds, view
adjustments and make enhancements that make your photos look more exciting.
Step 1. Click on the “Get Fantasy” icon to select the fantasy background for your photo
fantasy. (Need CD in drive), you can also create your own fantasy backgrounds.
Step 2. Each of these buttons corresponds to a particular mask/photo in a fantasy
background.
Step 3. Adjust the photo to the desired position and size in the fantasy by using the icons
on the right side of the screen. You can mirror the photo horizontally, move it up
or down, or right/left, adjust its size, rotate it, and put text on it. Use the “Zoom
in” icon to zoom in on the fantasy for easy alignment of the photo.
Step 4. Use the “Match Color” icon to match the tone of your photo to that of the
fantasy. You can also find the correct color tone by using the slide bars for
contrast, brightness and color adjustment.
Step 5. Save your fantasy by clicking the “Save” icon. Select your destination directory
and type in the file name.
Main Display
Click the “Live Preview” button to
turn your live video camera on or off.
Click the “Snap Photo” button to
capture a photo from your camera.
Click the Select Video Source button
to select from available Video-for-
Windows drivers if you have more
than one.
PhotoBase Quick Start
Step 1. Click the “Acquire” icon. Select source (STV0680) if you have more than one.
Click on an image, then click capture, or capture all.
Step 2. Click on the thumbnail of each photo and then type in its title, date, etc. Click on
Label names in Album menu to change names. Click the “OK” Button to save.
Step 3. To save the photos into an album. Click the “Save” icon and then type the name.
Step 4. To start a slide show with the photos in the album. Click “Album” on the menu
bar and select “Slide Show” in the pull down menu. Click “OK” in the Slide
Show dialog box to start a slide show with default settings. Press the ESC key or
click the left mouse button to exit during a slide show.
Step 5. You can add photos to an album. Click on the “Add” icon, select the directory
and photo and then click “Open.” Save the album again to update your album.
Note 1. You can delete photos from an album by using the “Delete” icon.
Note 2. You can launch other Arcsoft applications from PhotoBase by clicking on their
icons. (Right click to add applications to the bottom of the screen first).
Note 3. You can e-mail photos to your friends. Click on the photo that you want to mail
and click on the “Mail” icon.
