Preparing the CRW3200SX Drive

Turn on the computer.

Check that the CRW3200SX drive and the SCSI card are 

recognized properly by the computer.

Select Apple System Profiler in the Apple menu.

Select Devices and Volumes tab (for Mac OS 8.5 or later).

Select Select in the menu bar, and then Device Information (for Mac OS 8/8.1).

In the “SCSI Bus 1” item, select the SCSI ID number set for the 

CRW3200SX drive. 

“CRW3200S” should be shown in the “Product ID” item when the 

CRW3200SX drive has been recognized properly.

The extension files that support the CRW3200SX drive are required to mount 

and read the disc even if the drive is recognized by Apple System Profiler. The 

extension files come with the CD writing software. For details, refer to the 

documentation that comes with the CD writing software.

Install the CD writing software. For details about how to install CD writing 

software, refer to the documentation that comes with it.
