Foraddedprotectionforthisproductduringalightningstorm,orwhenitisleftunattendedandunusedforlongperiodsoftime,unplugitfromthewalloutlet.

Thiswillpreventdamagetotheproductduetolightningandpower-linesurges.

ThereisachancethatplacingthisunittooclosetoaCRT-based(Brauntube)TVsetmightimpairpicturecolor.Shouldthishappen,movethisunitawayfrom

theTVset.

Donotusethisunitwithin22cm(9inches)ofpersonswithaheartpacemakerimplantordefibrillatorimplant.

ConnecttheACadaptor(forthespeaker)tothisjacktosupplypowertothespeaker.WhentheACadaptorisconnected,thespeakerwillbeinstandbymode,

consumingasmallquantityofelectricity.WhenaniPhoneoriPodisconnectedtothetransmitter(PDX-50TX),thespeakerturnsonfromstandbymode.Whenthe

iPhoneoriPodisdisconnectedfromthetransmitter,thespeakerreturnstostandbymode.

Refertothetablebelowiftheunitdoesnotfunctionproperly.Iftheproblemyouareexperiencingisnotlistedbelow,oriftheinstructionbelowdoesnothelp,turn

offthisunit,disconnectthepowercable,andcontactthenearestauthorizedYamahadealerorservicecenter.
