But it is also possible without a
compass; see illustration 3:
Orientate your MULTIMO to the
south.
Slowly turn the it to the left
eastward until a picture appears
on the TV-set.
Move the whole antenna a little
bit to the left and to the right in
order to optimize the quality of the
picture.
Now release the thumb screw
of the elevation adjustment and
slightly move the LNB fixing
upward and downward to further
optimize the quality of the picture.
Please do not perform the adjustment at the dish reflector but at the
LNB fixing so that the reflector will not be damaged. Later retighten the
thumb screw.

5. Cross polarization
According to the location the LNB can be
turned for the optimization of the picture
as shown on illustration 4. By this the
optimum decoupling of the polarization
will be set.
When performing this setting take care
that the base of the MULTIMO will not be
moved.
Now make sure that you receive the desired satellite by switching on the
corresponding programmes at the receiver.
