2. Check that the lubrication system is adequate.
3. Clean the bar and sprocket area.
4. Turn the bar over everyday.
5. Check the bar wear.
6. Ensure that the oil flow hole is unobstructed.
7. Clean the chain guide on the bar.
8. Check the chain tension, sharpen the blades and check
their conditions eventually removing irregularities.
9. Check the guide bar sprocket conditions.
First time user
If you are not familiar with chain saws and the felling
of trees, it is recommended that you obtain informed
instructions in addition to reading this manual fully. We also
recommend as a minimum that you practice cutting logs on
a saw-horse or log cradle.
Note.
This is a pruning type chain saw, for light duty home
applications. Cutting action is slow, but effective. Do not
attempt to perform large log cutting applications with this
saw.
General inspection
Regularly check that all the fixing screws are tight.
They may vibrate loose over time.
Storage
•
Drain all oil from the oil tank
•
Clean the electric chain saw with a dry cloth, do not use
aggressive cleaning fluids.
•
Replace the electric chain saw blade cover and store in
a dry place. Do not store in hot, dry boiler rooms or other
damp places.
•
Charge the battery 50% - 75% charge.
•
Do not store the battery with the tool.
