4.6 Security     (6) 

The security functions can prevent your phone and SIM card from 

being used by an unauthorized person.  

Code Status (6-1) 

The code status includes: 

PIN code (6-1-1)

Activate/Deactivate the PIN code function.  

After you enter this function by pressing 

, the screen will display two 

options: “On” and “Off”. Use   to select and press 

 to confirm. When 

you change the PIN code status, you will be prompted to enter PIN. 

Phone Code (6-1-2)

Activate/Deactivate the phone code function.  The phone code helps 

prevent unauthorized use of your phone.  When this function is on, you 

must enter your phone code every time you power on your phone (there is 

no limitation on the number of wrong attempts when you enter the phone 

code).  

After you enter this function by pressing 

, the screen will display two 

options: “On” and “Off”. Use   to select and press 

 to confirm. When 

changing the phone code status, you have to enter your phone code. (The 

default phone code is 1234).  

Change Code (6-2)      

PIN Code (6-2-1)

You can change your PIN here. 

You need to activate the PIN function as described in 6-1-1 before changing 

your PIN. First, enter the original PIN and press 

. Then enter the new 

PIN and press 

. Finally, enter the new PIN again and press 

 to 

confirm.
