4.4.2 Orientation function
Your watch is fitted with an orientation function that you can
use to find geographic north. Make sure that N (North) on the
rotating flange is positioned at 12 o’clock (9).
Turn the watch so that the hour hand is pointing towards the
sun (F). On the dial, read the figure indicated by the hour hand
(G).
Divide this figure by 2 (for example 4 : 2 = 2), remember its
position on the dial (in our example, 2 o’clock) and then position
south on the navigation flange at 2 o’clock (H). In our example,
geographic north is therefore at 8 o’clock (I).
5. ADDITIONAL COMMENTS
Guarantee :
Your watch comes with a two-year worldwide guarantee effective
from the date of purchase. This guarantee covers all faults and/or
manufacturing defects.
Any work carried out on the watch outside our workshops will
automatically cancel this guarantee.
Water-resistance :
As stated on its guarantee certificate, this watch is water-
resistant to a depth of 100 metres.
Its water-resistance may be compromised by an accident
or contact with an aggressive substance (acid, perfume, liquid
metal, saline water, etc.). After an incident of this type, avoid
immersing the watch in water, and immediately have the watch
checked or verified by a water-resistance service..
Recommendations :
To ensure the reliability and precision of your watch, we recom-
mend it undergo a complete service every 4 to 6 years.
We recommend you have its water-resistance checked at least
every two years. This check is free, only the water-resistance cor-
rection (Water-resistance B1 service) and parts will be invoiced.
