STRAIGHT STITCH SEWING

Straight stitch patterns should be selected according to the type of fabric being sewn.

1.Position the fabric under the presser foot and lower it.

Hold the upper thread and bobbin thread loosely

behind the presser foot.

2.Lower the presser foot lever and press START/STOP 

   button to start sewing.

(When foot control is used, press the pedal.)

3.When you reach the end of seam, press the reverse

button to sew 3-4 stitches.

Place hand lightly on the fabric while sewing

to  guide the fabric.

Select the straight stitch pattern 01 or 02 

Attach all purpose foot.

Adjust the stitch length and stitch width (see page

10) according to the type of fabric being sewn.

4.Release the reverse button and stop sewing by 

   pressing the START/STOP button (or releasing

   the pressure on foot control.)

5.Touch the REINFORCEMENT button to sew 4 tie-off

   stitches.

Tie-off

6.Raise the presser foot and cut thread.
