INSTALLATION
WIRING (See FIGURE 11)
Please make sure that all sensor, camera, monitor and buzzer cables are all carefully ran
through the vehicle and avoiding any moving parts or removable panels. This will help to avoid
and pinching or tangling of cables when the vehicle is reassembled and will ensure the best
installation.
CONTROL MODULE
1. Connect the sensor cables into the control module. The sensor ports on the module are
labeled A, B, C and D which corresponds to the sensors which are also marked A, B, C
and D. Please make sure to plug in the correct sensor to the corresponding sensor port.
2. Plug the YELLOW RCA cables of the camera and monitor into the “Camera” and
“Display” ports on the control module. The plug the buzzer cable into the “Buzzer” port on
the module.
3. Connect the RED wire to the +12 volt reverse light wire of the vehicle and connect the
BLACK wire to chassis ground.
CAMERA
1. Connect the YELLOW RCA video cable into the “Camera” port on the control module.
2. Plug in the power adapter plug into the RED power plug of the camera. Connect the RED
wire to the +12 volt reverse light wire of the vehicle and connect the BLACK wire to
chassis ground.
MONITOR
1. Connect the YELLOW RCA video cable into the “Display” port on the control module.
2. The WHITE RCA cable is a Video 2 input. You can use this port to plug in another
camera or use it for an external video source such as a DVD player.
3. Plug in the power adapter plug into the RED power plug of the monitor. Connect the RED
wire to +12 volt accessory power of the vehicle so that the monitor turns on when the key
is powered on. Connect the BLACK wire to chassis ground.
BUZZER
1. The audible buzzer is a simpler plug-in. Plug the buzzer connector into the “Buzzer” port
on the control module.
NOTE: The camera and monitor use standard RCA cables that plug into the main control
module. If you don’t want to use the supplied camera and monitor that comes with the CA-5030
system, then you can use any camera and monitor of your choice as long as they use standard
RCA video cables.
