* The Factory Default setting for BDM401 is “Parallel”
** Since BGM is normally broadcast it is convenient to prevent it from showing a “Busy” condition on
the microphone.
*** It is possible to increase the offset to allow selection of messages above 8 to be selected e.g. instead
of messages 1 to 8 the unit can be set for messages 4 to 12.
**** The Factory Default RS485 Protocol is “Type 0” for units manufactured prior to Batch # 28351.
