IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS
When using electrical appliances, basic safety
precautions should always be taken including
the following:-
• Use the fan only for purposes described in the
instruction manual.
• To protect against electrical shock, do not
immerse the fan, plug or cord in water or
spray with liquids.
• Close supervision is necessary when any
appliance is used by or near children.
• Unplug from the electrical outlet when not in
use, when moving the fan from one location to
another, before putting on or taking off parts
and before cleaning.
• Avoid contact with any moving parts.
• Do not operate in the presence of explosive
and/or flammable fumes.
• Do not operate fan until fully assembled with
all parts properly in place.
• To avoid fire hazard, NEVER place the cord
under rugs or any parts near an open flame,
cooking or other heating appliance.
• Ensure that the fan is switched off from the
supply mains before removing the guard.
• Do not operate any appliance with a damaged
cord, plug, after the appliance malfunctions, or
has been dropped/damaged in any manner.
• The use of attachments not recommended or
sold by the appliance manufacturer may
cause hazards.
• Do not use outdoors.
• Do not let the cord hang over the edge of a
table or counter, or come into contact with hot
surfaces.
• To disconnect from the electrical supply, grip
the plug and pull from the wall outlet. DO NOT
pull on the cord.
• Always use on a dry, level surface.
• Do not operate without the fan grills properly
in place.
• This product is intended for household use
ONLY and not for commercial or industrial
applications.
• Should the fan stop working, first check the fuse
in the plug (UK only) or fuse/circuit breaker at
the distribution board is operating, before
contacting the manufacturer or service agent.
• If the supply cord or plug is damaged, it must
be replaced by the manufacturer or its service
agent or a similarly qualified person in order
to avoid hazard.
• This appliance is not intended for use by
persons (including children) with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or
lack of experience and knowledge, unless
they have been given supervision or
instruction concerning use of the appliance by
a person responsible for their safety. Children
should be supervised to ensure that they do
not play with the appliance.

ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
(See Fig. 5, 6)
1. Assemble Base Halves with cord running
through the middle slot, by sliding them
together, aligning the 4 male parts with the
4 female parts as seen in Fig. 5.
2. Secure assembled base to the fan housing (F)
with 4 securing screws (G) as seen in Fig. 5.
3. Secure power cord (H) to the bottom of the
unit as seen in Fig. 6.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
(See Fig. 2, 3, 4)
Remote Control: Remote Control requires 2 AAA
batteries for operation (no batteries included).
There is a slot on the back of the unit (Refer to
Fig. 2) to store the remote when not in use.
A. Power Button
Press
= on (light on) off (no light)
B. Speed Settings
Press
= 1 low speed, 2 medium speed,
3 high speed
C.Oscillation Control
Press
= on (light on) off (no light)
D.Breeze Mode
Press
with blue light = Breeze Mode:
randomly cycles through the speed settings to
simulate a natural breeze
Press
with amber light = Sleep Mode:
cycles through the speed settings in order
Press
no light = off
E. Timer Control
Press
= light on 1, 2, 4 or 8 = hours unit
will shut-off automatically.
No light = no timer and unit stays on until you
turn unit off with the

Follow these instructions to correctly and safely
care for your Bionaire
TM
fan. Please remember:-
• Always unplug the fan before cleaning or
assembly.
• Do not allow water to drip on or into the fan
motor housing.
