Operation Instructions
Take care of the following measures while using the sensor.
• Do not install it on moist ceiling or wall.
• Test it monthly
• Clean the sensor by soft brush once in six months to
ensure the efficient working of the product
• When the voltage of battery is low or the chamber is
dirty, the detector will beep every 40s. Change the
battery at this condition.
Troubleshooting & Safety Instructions
Photoelectric smoke detector works through the detection of smoke particles that reflects infrared light. Infrared
diodes placed in the special chamber detects this infrared light. When smoke enters the special chamber, the
density of infrared light increases and after it attains a certain density, the detector produces the alarm signal.
The detector can be upgraded to work wirelessly to generate sms or internet based alerts by connecting it to a
transmitter and BuildTrack controller.
