the UPS does not electrically isolate the internal parts. To isolate the UPS,
switch the UPS OFF first, then unplug it from the mains.

To reduce the risk of fire, use fuses with the correct rating when replacing
fuses.

The UPS relies on your building wiring over-‐current protection, which must
be rated between 10-‐16 amperes.

When using the communication features on the UPS, ensure the cabling
connected to the USB communication port are kept separated by at least
25 mm from the power cords to and from the UPS input and output.
Safe Operating Practices
This pluggable type A equipment has factory installed batteries, and hence may
be operated by anyone that has read and understood this manual.
During the installation of this equipment, it should be assured that the sum of
the leakage currents of the UPS and the connected loads does not exceed
3.5mA.

The mains socket outlet that supplies the UPS shall be installed near the
UPS and shall be easily accessible.

When replacing batteries, replace with the same type and number of
batteries.
3.
Turn off and unplug your UPS before cleaning. Do not use liquid or aerosol
cleaners. A dry cloth is recommended to remove dust from the surface of
your UPS.
