TURBO, SELF-SERVICE AND EXTERNAL FUNCTIONS

With the key switch in the "Manager" position, a number of functions are listed in menu II
which can be switched on and off.
TURBO FUNCTION:
♦
In the TURBO mode, the coffee for the next cup is ground immediately the preceding cup is
finished and the piston moves to the dispensing position. The quantity corresponds to that
of the reference beverage.
♦
When a beverage is selected, it is prepared according to the data for the beverage. The
time the machine requires to grind the coffee and for the piston to move to the dispensing
position is saved.
NOTE:The machine switches automatically to self-service operation when the TURBO
mode is activated. The TURBO mode only functions for self-service. Self-service operation
has to be switched off separately, however, after the TURBO mode has been switched off!
SELF-SERVICE FUNCTION (switched on):

With self-service activated, it is only possible to order single cups; double orders are not
possible. It is also not possible to terminate the dispensing of beverages in progress.

In the self-service mode, a maximum of 5, but normally 3 beverages are available for
selection.

Where more than three beverages are required in
self-service operation, they can be programmed by the
service technician.
♦
Machines which only operate in the self-service
mode are fitted with a key-pad especially designed for
the purpose (see Page 23).
EXTERNAL FUNCTION
♦
The EXTERNAL mode is only of consequence when some external apparatus such as till,
coin checker etc., is connection (see separate instructions).
