Using The Radio
Tuner Display Window
Manual Tuning
Momentarily pressing the SEARCH
UP or SEARCH DOWN will change the
station frequency one step in the
desired direction. Use this feature to
tune in a station that is too weak to
be received using AUTO TUNING.
The last tuned frequency is stored
in memory when the power is set to
STANDBY mode, or another source is
selected. When the unit is returned to
radio mode, the same station will
be heard.
Storing Presets
There are a total of 20 available
preset locations where you may store
the most frequently used AM and FM
stations. 10 places are reserved for
FM and 10 for AM.
1. Tune to the desired station.
2. Press the MEMORY button. The
word “Program” will flash in the
LCD display and “channel 00”
will appear.
3. While “Program” is still flashing,
press the REPEAT/PRESET button
until the number of the memory
location where you want to store
the station appears. Press the
MEMORY button again to store the
station in this location.
4. Repeat for other stations as
desired, up to 10 stations for
each band.
Recalling Presets
The preset stations must be
stored before this operation can
be performed.
1. With the unit switched to RADIO
mode and the desired band
selected, press the REPEAT/PRESET
button until your desired station
is reached.
2. You can also directly access a
preset from the numeric keys on
the remote control. Press the +10
button for preset number 10.
1. Switch the unit on.
2. Select the RADIO source button.
3. Select the desired band using the
AM/FM button.
4. Tune the required station using
either the SEARCH UP ( ) or
SEARCH DOWN ( ) buttons, or by
pressing the REPEAT/PRESET
button to recall a previously saved
preset station.

Auto Tuning
By pressing the SEARCH UP or
SEARCH DOWN button for one
second or more, the AUTO TUNE
feature is activated. The radio
will search for the next available
strong broadcast.

Repeat Play
Press the REPEAT/PRESET button for
endless repeat play of the entire CD.
The REPEAT indicator on the display
will illuminate.
Press the REPEAT/PRESET button
a second time to repeat a single track.
The REPEAT indicator on the display
will flash.
To cancel the repeat play func-
tions, press the REPEAT/PRESET
button a third time. The REPEAT
indicator on the display will go out.
Stopping the disc or opening the lid
will also cancel the REPEAT function.
Random Play
Press the RANDOM button and
MusicWorks will play all tracks of a
CD in random order and then stop.
Press Random again or open the CD
lid to cancel RANDOM Play.
REPEAT and RANDOM play
features can be used at the same
time.
MusicWorks randomly plays all
the tracks on a CD, then starts a new
random sequence play.
