fm Signal strength
On a transmitter 3 bars indicate
that standard range is selected
and 4 bars long range. On a
receiver the display indicates the
received fm signal strength.

This symbol shows that the
microphone is muted.
Circle symbol
On a receiver this indicates
that dynamic muting is
available and on a transmitter
that the test tone is on.
Triangle symbol
Flashes during channel select
period.
Sound symbol
The speaker symbol shows
when sound is passing
through the system; very
useful for routine
monitoring and diagnostics.
Channel number
Displays current channel in use.
Battery level
Displays battery life remaining.
Charging is indicated by a
‘rolling’ effect.

Operating mode
These symbols indicate the receiver
output mode. Low level output for
hearing aid direct input and high level
output for headphones or neckloop.
Aerial symbol
Flashes on a transmitter if there
is an aerial or microphone fault.
On a receiver the symbol flashes
when there is no fm signal.
