Installing/Removing the Dust Filter, Power or Fan Modules
There are three m odules available for the Switch, dust, power and fan modules. Power and fan modules have the
handles for users to replace the modules easily. If installing or removing the power module, make sure to unplug the
Switch before installing or removing the module. To install the any of three modules, slide it in to the available slot at
the front of the Switch until it reaches the back. Gently, but firmly push in on the module to secure it to the Switch. The
module should fit snugly into the corresponding receptors.

After all modules are secured, tighten the screws at adjacent ends of the module into the available screw holes on the
Switch. The Switch is now ready for use.
CAUTION:
The handles on the power and fan modules should only be used to replace
the modules in the event of a hardware failure. Do not use the power module handle to
lift the Switch.
Power On (AC Power)
Plug one end of the AC power cord into the power connector of the Switch and the other end into the local power
source outlet and turn the AC power switch on.
After t he S witch is po wered on, t he L ED indicators w ill m omentarily bl ink and t he f an will c omplete a c heck. This
blinking of the LED indicators represents a reset of the system.
Power Failure (AC Power)
As a pr ecaution f or A C p ower s upply units, i n t he event of a po wer f ailure, unplug t he Switch. When po wer h as
resumed, plug the Switch back in and turn the AC power switch on.
