3. Once all the details are entered, click on the Save & Reboot button to save the settings and
reboot the modem.
After the modem has rebooted, it will begin to negotiate the ADSL connection for your
account. This will normally take about a minute. Click on Refresh on your web browser (or
F5 key) to refresh the Connection Status at the bottom right of the Quick Configuration
webpage.
When the ADSL connection has been established successfully, the ADSL Link LED indicator
will light steady green and the Connection Status will report Connected. If the ADSL Link
indicator does not light up after a minute or so, please check your ADSL physical phone line
connection. If the Connection Status shows Auth Failure, please double check all the
settings again under the Quick Configuration webpage (eg. case-sensitive for username and
password).
Configure using Web Browser - for Bridge Connection
1. Double-click on DSL-300G Config icon on your Windows desktop; or open up a web
browser and type in http:// followed by the default LAN IP address of the modem, 10.1.1.1 in
the addressbar of the browser. The URL in the address bar should read http://10.1.1.1 (or
http://10.1.1.1/hag/pages/home.ssi if you can already see the Quick Configuration webpage
like the one shown below).
2. On the Quick Configuration webpage, select Operation Mode: Bridge.
3. Leave the default Connection Type: 1483 Bridged IP LLC, VPI: 8, VCI: 35. DO NOT
change these settings unless you are instructed to do so by your ADSL service provider.
4. Click on the Save & Reboot button to save the settings and reboot the modem.

Link indicator does not light up after a minute or so, please check your ADSL physical phone

Note
Bridge connections often require additional IP address information from your
ADSL service provider. Please make sure you follow the instructions or
document provided to you on how to configure the IP address settings on your
computer. If you are not sure about this, please contact your ADSL service
provider for further details.
