Attaching the lid
(figure 4)
Hold the gray pump arm up as high as possible. Put the lid on the
container so that the flap at the back is inserted into the indention in the
container (a). Now press the lid at the front until it snaps shut (b). The
spout has to be connected firmly with the lid.
Press the arm a few times until some of the product comes out of the
spout. The dispenser is now ready for use.
5.
Attaching/removing the transparent cover for labeling
or cleaning
(figure 5)
Slide the transparent cover to the front by positioning both thumbs on
the ribbed areas and take off the cover. Position the enclosed label on the
upper side of the lid, replace the cover and let it snap into place.
6.
Taking off the lid
(figure 6)
Press the flap on the back side of the container and lift off the lid.
7.
Cleaning
Remove the empty bag from the pump container. Take apart the pump
into its various components (figures 1 + 7). We recommended cleaning
the pump every time you change the bag. All parts are washable.
Please use the enclosed brush. We recommend disinfecting all parts that
come into contact with the product.

Assembling the pump
(figures 1+7)
a.
Affix the dome (7979) to the pump tube (8374) and attach securely by
turning the lock ring (7978) until it snaps into place. (figure 7)
b.
Insert the upper back-pressure valve (8375) into the intake of the
pump tube as far as possible. Press the opening lip of the upper back-
pressure valve briefly to open the outlet.
c.
Slide the spout (8376) over the upper back-pressure valve (8375).
Once again, press the opening lip briefly to open up the outlet.
The step is necessary to retain the pump effect.
d.
Insert the lower back-pressure valve (7980) into the lower opening
of the pump tube. Two positions are possible for the lower back-pressure
valve depending on the viscosity of the product: for products with low
viscosity, such as ketchup, the arrow on the pump tube should point to the letter A* (marked on the lower back-pressure
valve), for more viscous products (mustard, mayonnaise) to the letter B** (marked on the lower back-pressure valve).
Affix the back-pressure valve by folding up both flaps and hitching them to the fixing pins on the pump tube. (See figure 1 b).
*Position A: ideal for ketchup (= factory setting), **Position B: ideal for mustard and mayonnaise (= factory setting)
Remark:
Do not position dispensers right next to the oven or deep fryer.
