Detailed setup of the ARC-53M is done in Edit mode. The following tables explain configurations available in Edit mode and how to set them.
To keep this manual simple and easy to understand, some descriptions for setup procedures are simplified. To enter Edit mode, hold down
the MODE (EDIT/EXIT) switch for three seconds. When the display shows “MN”, select a menu item assigned to the corresponding PS/L
switch.
The following terms are used in the explanations for setup procedures.
• ENTER: Press the ENTER switch located on the control panel to confirm your selection.
• Set: Press the INC/+ or DEC/– switch on the control panel until the desired value or item is shown in the display.
• Parameter: Values or items that can be changed by users.
• Default: Parameter settings configured before shipment from factory.
The following abbreviations are used to show labels on the display:
[FR]: FROM [YS]: YES [ER]: ERROR

PRESET COPY [CP]
This item is used to copy the contents of a preset
to another preset.
[CP] on ENTER FR [PRESET NUMBER] flashes

BANK COPY [BC]
This item is used to copy the contents of a bank to
another bank.
[BC] on ENTER FR [BANK NUMBER] flashes Set

PRESET DELETE [DL]
This item is used to delete the contents of the
specified preset.

specified bank.

EDIT MENU
Use the PS/L switches to select menus
Hold down the MODE switch to put the ARC-53M in Edit mode
Use the Select Switch to select the desired menu item.
Set each parameter value.
Press the MODE switch to return to Preset mode from Edit mode
