3.2 Fat melting stage
– Place approximately 3 kg of fat cut into small
pieces in the deep fryer.
– Turn the “Temperature" control knob to the fat
melting stage position
on the left. In this
position, the fat is melted slowly. This prevents
overheating of the heating element. The
(fat
melting active) symbol and 100 °C are shown on
the display. After a few seconds, a signal is
sounded.
– When the fat melting stage is finished the
(fat
melting active) symbol goes off. Now you can set
the temperature you require.

– Turn the “Temperature" control knob to the left to
the fat melting stage position
. As soon as a
signal is sounded, turn the control knob
to the
left
(do not turn back over 0!) to the temperature
you require.
– During the melting process, the
(fat melting
active) symbol is shown on the display. The
appliance then heats up automatically to the
selected temperature after the fat is melted.
Important:
Owing to the low temperature in the cold oil zone,
fat that has not melted may remain in this zone. You
can start deep frying as soon as the
(heating)
symbol has gone off.
Note:
The fat melting stage can only be switched on if the
appliance temperature is below 50 °C.
If you activate the fat melting stage while the
appliance temperature is above 50 °C, the
(heating) symbol and 100 °C are shown on the
display. The appliance heats up to 100 °C.
