Original Instructions of Use
1. Safety instructions
IMPORTANT:
Read the operating instructions and act accordingly. Keep it for general use.
Comply with the safety information and the warning on the appliance.
Familiarize yourself with the controls and proper use of the appliance.
Before operation
The appliance must be assembled correctly before use.
The appliance should be checked carefully before use. You should only work with an appliance that is in
good condition. If you notice any defect on the machine that may cause danger to the operator, do not
operate the appliance until defects are rectified.
Regularly check the technical condition of the equipment and tightening of all connections. For safety
reason, replace worn or damaged parts. Use original spare parts. Parts not produced by manufacturer may
cause poor fit and possible injury. Replace damaged or illegible labels.
Before use, all foreign subjects must be removed from the lawn, also pay attention to foreign subjects
during the operation.
Only work in daylight or sufficiently good artificial light.
Proper use
The user is responsible for third parties while working with the appliance.
People not acquainted with the operating instructions, children, juveniles who have not yet reached the
minimum age for using this appliance, and people under the influence of alcohol, drugs or medication are
not allowed to use the appliance.
Only use the appliance for its designed purposes. Use it on a flat solid surface and in a position where it
touches all wheels if possible.
Avoid use on gravel or paved surfaces. Risk of injury or equipment damage. When crossing to the next lawn
turn off the equipment.
Do not carry the device when the motor is running.
Wear ear protection and safety goggles. Wear suitable working clothes and solid shoes. Never work in bare
feet or in open-toed sandals. Do not wear loose clothing and accessories that could be caught in moving
parts.
Keep children and pets away. All onlookers should be kept a safe distance away from the appliance when it
is in use.
Always use with grass box or with the safety flap closed. Make sure that all the protective devices are fitted
and in good condition.
Before inserting the plug in the mains socket, make sure that the socket ratings are correct and correspond
to those indicated on the rating label on the appliance.
When you start the motor the appliance must not be tilted unless it has to be raised for this purpose. In this
case only tilt it up as far as is really necessary and only raise the side that is furthest away from the user.
In order to start the appliance, the cutting device must be completely free to move. Carefully actuate the
starter switch in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions and stand far enough away from rotating
parts.
During use keep the safety distance from rotating parts provided by the guide bar.
Ensure that you have a good a stand, especially on slopes.
Do not put hands and feet in the vicinity of rotating parts.
Caution! Risk of injury!
Only guide the appliance at walking pace.
Use extreme caution when changing the direction of the working or pull it towards you.
Always switch off the appliance, disconnect the plug and wait until the cutting disc stops whenever you
leave the operating position, before positioning and removing the grass box, before carrying out
maintenance or cleaning work.
Caution! Blades do not stop immediately after switching off.
If the appliance strikes a foreign body, examine the application for signs of damage and carry out any
necessary repairs before restarting and continuing to work.
If the appliance should start to vibrate abnormally, switch off the motor and check for the cause
immediately. Vibration is generally a warning of trouble.
