Possible cause
Deposits of dirt on the impeller
of the dry-running safety device.
Throughput was < 140 l/h for
several minutes.
Rotary switch of non-return
valve is set to START.
Non-return valve of the
manometric switch is blocked.
Remedy
➜ Contact GARDENA Service.
➜ Increase throughput.
➜ Turn rotary switch to RUN.
➜ Clean non-return valve
(see 7. Maintenance).
Note: Even a small leak (loss of just a few ml) can cause the
pressure to drop below the pressure needed for switching
on the pump. The cause is often small leaks in taps or WC-
cisterns.
If
ERROR 10 (leakage) occurs, the pump can only be switched on
again by unplugging the mains plug and plugging it in again.
Reduction in throughput on the output side:
The pump indicates on the throughput display or pressure display
that the throughput on the output side is < 140 l/h.
(The pump also switches on and off frequently)
Possible cause
Relatively large leak on the
delivery side.
Filter blocked.
Throughput < 140 l/h
Remedy
➜ Rectify leak.
➜ Clean filter and make sure
water level is adequate.
➜ Increase throughput

enough.
➜ Inlet filter or backflow
