Operation
Before operation submerge the pump in the water. Take care that
the pump is positioned in a way that the casing is completely
immersed in water.

The foam filter at the bottom must not be covered up at the
side!
Please note the maximum submersion depth (see “Technical Data”).
Put the plug of the pump into the socket of the mains plug and
then the mains plug into a 230 V AC socket.
Caution! Pump will start immediately.
Adjust the volume according to your needs by turning the volume
control. (
➔ Turning anti-clockwise increases the volume)

Check line voltage. Data indicated on the type plate must match
technical data of the mains supply.
The pump must not be operated when there are people in the
water.
Do not use the power cable to carry the pump or to pull the
plug. Protect the power cable from heat, oil and sharp edges.
Please unplug the pump after operation and before carrying out
any maintenance works.
The temperature of the liquid used must not be below 4 °C or
above 35 °C.
Sand and other abrasive substances in the liquid cause in-
creased wear and reduce the output of the pump.
GARDENA pumps and plug connections have been designed
exclusively for the use with 9 V low voltage. When connected
to 230 V your life is at risk! Operate the pump only with the
delivered transformer.
