NotE:WhenconnectingthisantennatoaGPSMAP
2000,3000,4000,or5000seriesdevice,youmust
limittheupdaterate.Iftheupdaterateisnotlimited,
thechartplottermightnotreceiveanddisplaythe
GPSsignalproperly.

attachittoastandard1in.OD,14threadsperin.,
pipe-threadedpole(notincluded),orinstallitunder
fiberglass.
Foroptimalperformance,considertheseguidelines
whenselectingtheantennamountinglocation.
• Theantennamustbemounted5.9in.(150mm)
fromacompasstoavoidinterference.
• Toensurethebestreception,theantenna
shouldbemountedinalocationthathasaclear,
unobstructedviewoftheskyinalldirections
