Description
Duplex 2.4GHz
The transmitters have adopted the newly developed bidirectional communication sys-
tem DUPLEX 2.4GHz designed by Jeti Model. This radio system is very reliable and
has proven its performance over the years.
Built in telemetry
The Hacker-DS-5 transmitter features bi-directional communication with the model. It
was developed by a professional team of engineers and world class pilots. The result is
an easy to operate and most reliable radio. The analog display shows you the state of
charge. The Hacker DS-5 allows you to transfer telemetric data via Jeti-Box connection
or perform Bluetooth linked PC analysing. This setup provides a strong bandwidth of
opportunities for the most common applications such as easy to activate delta mix func-
tions or the para mix function for our Para-RC line models.
Servo reverse and end point adjustments may be executed directly on the radio.
General information on DUPLEX receivers
1.
The servo connectors are suitable for all servos with “JR Type” plugs.
2.
Bat
Power supply port for receiver and servos. Always use multiple inputs as possible
by using y-cables or not used receiver channels. You may either use NiXX packs,
the BEC from your controller or a LiXX pack with voltage regulator. Please pay
attention to the manufacturer guidelines and the applicable servo voltages.
Also refer to the according DUPLEX receiver manual.
3.
SAT
Auxiliary input/output for PPM signals. You may connect a Jeti DUPLEX Rsat2
satellite receiver to this input. This will improve reliability in situations in which
the antenna is poorly orientated or shielded.
4.
EXT
Input for telemetric sensors. Should you want to connect more than one sensor
a Jeti Expander E2, E4 or MVario2 is required.
5.
A1/A2
Receiver antennas. Always try to mount the active part of the antennas in
a 90° position to each other. These parts are marked yellow.
