Especially delicate fabrics
Textiles which can easily shrink or lose their shape, as well as e.g. silk stockings, lingerie
etc. should not be put in the dryer. Put delicate garments inside a laundry bag and avoid
overdrying them.
Jersey and knitwear
should be dried at READY to IRON
to avoid shrinkage. A subsequent stretch or pull into
form should be performed.
Fluff
The amount of lint in the lint filters is not attributable to the wash stress in the dryer; rather,
it is extracted fibers from the wearing and washing. During drying on the line, the fluff will
be carried away by the wind. By using a tumble dryer the fluff will be collected in the filters.
Preparing the laundry
▶ Sort clothes according to fabric(cotton, synthet-
ics, wool etc.) desired dry level and equal residual
moisture (fig. 21).
▶ Follow the instructions on the laundry label and
dry only machine-dryable garments.
Preparing the appliance
1. Connect the appliance to a power supply (220V
to 240V~/50Hz) (fig. 17) Please refer also to sec-
tion INSTALLATION.
2. Make sure:
▶ the water tank is empty and properly installed.
(fig. 18).
▶ the lint filter is clean and properly installed. (fig.
19).
▶ the condenser filter is clean and properly in-
stalled.(fig. 20).

Non-textile, as well as small, loose or sharp-edged items may cause malfunctions and
damage of clothes and appliance.
▶ Empty pockets of all sharp or flammable objects (coins, keys, paper tissues, lighters,
matches etc.) and remove harder decorative objects (brooches etc.) (fig. 22).
