•Whenreceivingasignal,BUSYindicatorturnsON
andaudioisemittedfromthespeaker.
•Furtheradjustmentof[VOLUME]toacomfortable
listeninglevelmaybenecessaryatthispoint.
Transmitting

Takethemicrophoneoffhook.

Waitforthechanneltobecomeclear.

Pushandhold[PTT]totransmit,then
speakintothemicrophoneatyournormal
voicelevel.

Release[PTT]toreceive.
IMPORTANT:
Tomaximizethereadabilityofthetransmitted
signal:

Pausebrieflyafterpushing[PTT].

Holdthemicrophone1to2inch(2.5to
5cm)fromyourmouth,thenspeakinto
themicrophoneatanormalvoicelevel.

Oneachradio,push[POWER]toturnpower
ontothatradio.
Right Radio must be on for Internal Controller
to function.
Pushtoselectthedesiredchanneloneach
radio.
Anyradiotrafficreceivedononeradiothat
meetstheprogrammedsettings,willcause
theotherradiotokeyandpassaudio.
XBand50isaHalfDuplexdevice.Radio
trafficcanonlypassonedirectionatatime.
KeepHaastimesettingslowasyoursystem
allows.
