Different ways of cleaning
To avoid causing permanent damage: Never operate the unit without
water in the cleaning tank. Never use boiling water.
General cleaning
Use plain warm tap water (ideally 45 to 50
O
C) with
a few drops of washing up liquid. Place the item to
be cleaned on the tray and place in the unit. Pour
in the water and ensure the water level is between
the “MIN” and “MAX” marking. Plug the unit in.
The default setting of 180s is normally sufficient for
general cleaning.
Enhanced cleaning
If the item is very dirty or has oil or grease smears
then you can achieve amazing results by using
either our Sea Clean or Metal Gleam concentrates
(see page 5 for details). You can also use the in-
built heater to raise the warm solution to achieve
optimum temperature throughout the cleaning
cycle.
Place the item to be cleaned on the tray and place
in the unit. Pour in the water and ensure the water
level is between the “MIN” and “MAX” marking.
Plug the unit in.
Press the “TC” button and the heater will warm the
water to a maximum of 65 degrees C.
Using the time setting of 280s 480s is
recommended for enhanced cleaning.
A final cleaning cycle, using plain water, is
recommended after using soaps or detergents in
order to clean any remaining residue from the items
being cleaned.
Note: Care should always be taken to ensure when putting multiple items in the
cleaner that they are not rubbing against each other, as this can cause scratches
or damage to the items.
