8. HOT-CUE & HOT-LOOP BANKS
This unit allows you to play from 4 cue points or from 4 hot loops instantly.
HOT-CUE
A. Set CUE memory: press MEMO first and then press a desired CUE button (1-4). The LED of the set CUE button
will light up green.
B. The main Memo / Loop / Cue button (9) must be pressed first each time you wish to save a cue to a button
HOT-LOOP
A. Set LOOP memory: Set a LOOP playback first and then press MEMO (9) to set the LOOP recording.
Press a desired LOOP button (1-4) The LED of the set LOOP button will become orange.
B. Play LOOP from memory: press the assigned loop button
Hold MEMO and turn the jog wheel to preset the beat length of Auto Loop. Then MEMO will illuminate. This means
it’s ready to execute the Auto Loop playback. Pressing IN will auto form an auto loop according the beat length you
set. The bar range of auto loop can be selected from 1/32~32/1. Use the TRACK knob to trim the loop length.
10. LOOP
1. Press A to memorize a start point and press B to memorize an end point. Then the Loop starts playing.
2. Press B again to edit the Loop playback. The length of the Loop playback can be enlarged or shortened by
turning the jog wheel.
3. Press the RELOOP to exit or recall the Loop playback.
4. When a loop is formed, turn TRACK to trim the loop to double or half of the original loop
Auto loop
There is also an Auto Loop function to assist in obtaining seamless loops. Press and hold the MEMO button, then
using the jog wheel to preset the loop playback range from 1/32~32/1. The memo button will stay illuminated and
this means that the auto loop function is ready to trigger the loop playback. To start the loop, press the A button at
the desired start point. The loop playback will form automatically from the preset time you set. 1/1 is equal to one
bar or 4 beats. When Auto Loop playback starts, the loop length is still editable by using the TRACK knob.
11. REVERSE
Press to activate the Reverse Play effect.
12. BRAKE
Hold this button and dial the jog wheel to adjust the time of start and break simultaneously. The range is from 0.5
to 6 seconds. Press it to set START / BRAKE effect ready. Press PLAY/PAUSE button to execute the effect.
13. CUE
In Pause mode, press this button to set a memorized point for instant play; in Play mode, press this button to
pause the music and return to the memorized point. Holding down this button will start the playback from the cue
point. Releasing it will pause the track and return to the cue point.
14. PLAY/PAUSE
Press this button to start the playback or let the playback pause.

16. EJECT
Press to eject the disc. NOTE: the disc can’t be ejected unless CUE or PAUSE button has been pressed first.
17. FX ON/OFF
These buttons will activate Flanger, Filter, Echo, PAN and CHOP effects. Press Relay to switch between Gain and
Parameter (the selected option will blink) showing in the display. Use the jog wheel to change the value of them.
Flanger: Gain - 0~100 / Parameter: 1/32~16/1
Filter: Gain - 0~100 / Parameter: -60~+60
Echo: Gain - 0~100 / Parameter: 1/32~1/1
Pan: Gain - 0~100 / Parameter: 1/32~1/1
Chop: Gain - 0~100 / Parameter: 1/32~1/1
18. FX SELECT
Press this button to switch among the five digital effects.
