Power Supply
•
The unit requires DC 9V 2.0A
.
•
Plug the supplied adaptor cable into the connector on the back of the unit and the other end into
a suitable wall socket.
•
Make sure that the output power of the wall outlet matches the required power of the adaptor.
•
Adaptor must be plugged in to operate. The unit does not operate on batteries.
Basic Functions
Switching the Unit On & Off
1. Power the unit as described above.
2. The unit is now in standby mode and the time will be shown in the display.
3. To switch the unit on, press the
STANDBY button.
4. To switch the unit off into standby mode, press the
STANDBY button once again.
Clock Setting
The clock can only be set while the unit is in standby mode.
1. While the unit is in standby mode, press the
CLK SET button. The time format will be shown.
2. Select between 12h display and 24h display by pressing the / buttons.
3. Press the
CLK SET button again. The hours will start flashing.
4. Set the current hours by pressing the / buttons.
5. Press the
CLK SET button again. The minutes will start flashing.
6. Set the current minutes by pressing the / buttons.
7. Press the
CLK SET button again to confirm all settings. The time is now set.
Alarm Setting
An alarm can only be set while the unit is in standby mode.
This unit enables you to set 2 separate alarms. You can select to wake to CD, radio or buzzer.
1. While the unit is in standby mode, press and hold for 2 seconds the
ALARM 1 or ALARM 2 but-
ton. The symbol (or
) and the hour of alarm 1 (or alarm 2) will flash.
2. Set the desired hour by pressing the / buttons.
3. Press the
ALARM 1 (or ALARM 2) button again. The minutes will start flashing.
4. Set the desired minutes by pressing the / buttons.
5. Press the
ALARM 1 (or ALARM 2) button again to select the wake up mode.
6. Select between CD, radio, or buzzer by pressing the / buttons.
Activating/Deactivating an Alarm
•
To activate a previously set alarm, press the respective
ALARM button (1 or 2) while the unit is
in standby mode. The alarm symbol (or
) appears in the display. This alarm will now ring at
the previously set time.

To deactivate a set alarm, press the respective
ALARM button (1 or 2) while the unit is in standby
mode. The alarm symbol (or
) will disappear from the display. This alarm is now deacti-
vated and will not ring.
Checking a Set Alarm
•
Press the
INFO button to check at what times and modes the alarms are set.
Stopping an Active Alarm
•
When the alarm is sounding, press the
ALARM 1 or ALARM 2 button to turn it off. The alarm
icon will disappear from the display. You must activate the alarm again in order for it to function
again the next day.
