Snooze Function
The snooze function allows you to delay an active alarm for 9 minutes. To do so, press the
SNOOZE
button once while the alarm is active. The alarm will stop and come on again after 9 minutes. The
alarm icon will be flashing during this period. To turn off this function, press the respective
ALARM
button (
1 or 2).
Sleep Function (via Remote Control)
The sleep function enables you to set a countdown timer after which the unit will turn itself into standby
mode automatically.
•
While listening, repeatedly press the
SNOOZE button on the remote control to select a desired
countdown after which the radio will turn itself off automatically.
•
You can select 90, 80, 70, 60, 50, 40, 30, 20 or 10 minutes. “SLEEP” will be shown in the display.
•
To check the remaining time on the countdown, press the
SNOOZE button once.
•
If you want to cancel the function, press the
SNOOZE button repeatedly until “00” appears in the
display. “SLEEP” will disappear from the display.
Equalizer Presets
While listening, repeatedly press the
EQ button to change the euqalizer preset. You can select be-
tween Flat, Rock, Classic, Pop, Jazz.
Radio
1. Switch the unit on as described previously.
2. Press the
FUNCTION button repeatedly to select “RADIO”. The frequency will be shown in the
display.
3. Select a desired radio station by pressing the or button repeatedly.
4. To automatically search for the next available radio station, press and hold for 2 seconds the
or button.
5. If a station is broadcasting stereo, you can press the
FM ST button for best sound. If a station is
bradcasting in mono, it is usually better to turn FM ST off.
6. For the best FM reception completely unroll the FM wire antenna.
Radio Station Presets
This unit enables you to store up to 20 radio stations.
1. Tune to a radio station which you would like to store.
2. Press and hold for 2 seconds the
PRESET button. The presets will start flashing (e.g. “P01”).
3. Select a desired preset place from P01 - P20 on which you want to store the current frequency by
pressing the or button.
4. Press the
PRESET button again to confirm your setting.
5. Repeat steps 1 - 4 to store up to 20 frequencies.
6. To recall a stored frequency, repeatedly press the
PRESET button until you reach the desired
preset.
CD Operation
Playing Discs
1. Switch the unit on and select the CD mode by pressing the
FUNCTION button.
2. Press the
EJECT button to open the CD compartment.
3. Insert a disc with the printed side facing outward.
4. Press the
EJECT button again to close the CD compartment.
5. The CD is being read and the total no. of tracks will be displayed.
6. Press the
PLAY/PAUSE button to start the playback.
7. To temporarily stop the playback (pause), press the
PLAY/PAUSE button once. Press the but-
ton again to resume playback.
