You may connect your MVP-100 camera directly to a computer OR
multimedia projector(s), OR Video Monitor OR Recorder (VCR or DVD) OR
any combination of these output devices. Additionally, the MVP-100 camera
may be connected to a Network, and that signal may be delivered to any of
the peripherals on the Network. For the puroses of these instructions, all of
these will be collectively called Output Devices.
At the rear of the MVP-100, please find a panel containing several
connectors. These include connections including a ones for VGA out (Monitor
out), VGA in, USB, RJ-45 (for Network connections), a series of Composite
Jacks including Composite Video out (C-VID), Audio out (A-OUT), and
Microphone in (MIC-IN), and S-Video out (S-VID). Additionally, there is the
input plug for the power supply of the camera (DC12V). There is a green light
that will indicate Network function is on.
Connecting your MVP-100 to various Output Devices
Your MVP-100 is designed as a multi-media friendly camera which can
be connected to a variety of Output Devices.
Output Device - Could be a Multimedia Projector, Video Monitor, TV,
Computer, VCR or DVD recorder.
1) MVP-100 to any Output Device which will accept a VGA input
signal (Multimedia Projector; Video Monitor, DVD or VCR Recorder).
Connect a VGA cable between the MVP-100 (Monitor-out) plug
and the Computer 1 IN or VGA IN of the Output Device.
Turn Output Device on (being sure correct button such as
Computer 1 or Computer 2 is activated).
Push the POWER button of the MVP-100.
Image should appear on screen after a few seconds.
