L2A CS408 Owners Manual & Instruction Manual - page 4
INTRODUCTION
This manual is designed to help you get the most out of your L2A CS complete compact PA
system. The CS range is a range of powered mixer heads complete with speakers, leads and a
microphone.
The speakers have 10” and a horn in the CS408 system and 12” and a horn in the CS415. Both
have ‘top hats’ on the underside to enable you to place them on speaker stands (available from
www.musicgeardirect.co.uk).
It is the ideal system for any application from education use to rehearsal rooms. There are 4
separate channels to each of the mixer heads for multiple inputs. The mixer also has built in vocal
effects. This is the ultimate in cost affective ‘plug in and go’ PA systems. Please take time to read
through this manual to familiarise yourself with all the functions that are at your fingertips.

1. Bass.
This is used to boost or cut the amount of bass or low frequencies to the channel. The
12 0 clock position is ‘0’. This is the optimum setting for the channel and indicates that bass
has not been either increased or decreased. Be careful not to wind in too much bass as this
could result in a low rumble type sound called feedback occurring and could potentially
damage your speakers.
