• Do not insert anything in the ventilation slots and do not obstruct them. Leave space around
the appliance to allow for adequate air circulation.
• Do not connect this appliance to an external timer or remote control system.
• An extension cable may be used with care. The electrical rating of the cable should be at least
as great as the appliance. Do not allow the cable to hang over the edge of the worktop or
touch any hot surfaces.
• This appliance complies with the basic requirements of Directives 04/108/EC (Electromagnetic
Compatibility) and 06/95/EC (Safety of Domestic Electrical Appliances)
• WARNING; A cut off plug inserted into a 13amp socket is a serious safety (shock) hazard.
Ensure the cut off plug is disposed of safely.

The temperature of all surfaces marked with this symbol will be very hot when the
appliance is in use. DO NOT TOUCH these surfaces as possible injury could occur. Always use
the door handle to open the oven, and always use oven gloves to remove hot dishes from the
oven.

CAUTION; the plastic bags used to wrap this appliance or the packaging may be
dangerous. To avoid risk of suffocation, keep these bags out of reach of babies and children.
These bags are not toys.
• Do not lift or move the Mini Oven whilst in use.
• Do not place oven on or near a hot gas or electric burner.
• Make sure the oven is not near any flammable materials such as curtains, drapes and walls
when in operation.
• Should any part of the Mini Oven catch fire do not attempt to extinguish it with water.
Unplug and smother external flames with a fire blanket or damp cloth. Never attempt to open
the oven door should the oven catch fire.
• Foil used to cover items during cooking should not be allowed to come into contact with the
elements.
• Foods that could bubble or bake out during cooking should be placed on a baking tray to
prevent splashing on to the bottom elements.
• Do not place cooking utensils or baking dishes on the glass door.
• Always use oven gloves to remove hot trays and dishes from the oven.
• Take extreme care when removing hot grease and liquids.
• Clean the drip/crumb tray regularly. Never operate the oven without the drip tray in place.
• Do not place any of the following materials in the oven: paper, cardboard, plastic and similar
products.
THE CONTROL PANEL AND PROGRAMMES
• LCD – this displays a variety of working modes of the Mini Oven through text and graphics.
The display lights up when selecting a programme or adjusting the time and temperature.
• Start/Stop button – press the button once and the Mini Oven starts the selected menu
programme. If you need to suspend the programme part way through cooking, press the
button once more and the oven will stop working but saves the current working status.
• Oven light button – press the button once to turn the oven light on, or press the button again
to turn the light off. The light goes off automatically after one minute.
• Convection fan button – press this button once to start the fan function and the fan icon
flashes. Once the programme starts working this icon rotates. Press the button again to
stop the fan function (and the fan icon is hidden). This function cannot be used alone-only in
addition to other programmes selected on the menu.
• Temperature or Time adjustment dial - turn the dial clockwise and the time or temperature will
be increased. Time can be increased in multiples of 1 minute, temperature can be increased
in multiples of 5ºC. To decrease time or temperature turn the dial anti-clockwise. Time can be
decreased in multiples of 1 minute and temperature can be decreased in multiples of 5ºC
• Temperature/time button – you can adjust the default temperature and time settings for
each of the menu functions. Press the button once for temperature setting, the temperature
will flash and using the temperature/time adjustment dial you can increase or decrease the
temperature from 60-230ºC. Press the button once again to convert time settings. The time
will flash and using the temperature/time adjustment dial you can increase or decrease the
time from 0-120 minutes.
• Menu function selection dial – turn the dial to select one mode (a total of eight modes)
from the menu function. When you select a mode the
symbol appears to the left of the
selected programme, with the exception of the defrost mode. When you select the defrost
mode the
icon flashes. Once the defrost programme starts working the icon will rotate.
• When you select the TOAST function the programme has a default set for 4 levels and 4 slices.
Press the temperature/time button and the number of levels will flash, turn the temperature/
time adjustment dial clockwise to increase or anti-clockwise to decrease the level, choose
between 1-7 levels, the toast is darker as the level increases. Press the temperature/time
button again to determine how many slices of bread (choose between 1-6 slices). Press start
to begin the programme.
