A GUIDE TO INGREDIENTS
• Different milks, for example UHT long life, fresh semi-skimmed milk and whole milk will
all froth to different levels so you may need to reduce the amount of milk you use.
• The Milk Frother works well with several non-dairy milks such as almond, oat and
soya milk.
• Semi-skimmed milk often gives the best results for frothing.
• Add your other ingredients (for example, coffee, drinking chocolate, sugar) to your
mug and pour the warmed milk on top of them. Do not put the additions into the Milk
Frother as the sugars may cause it to overheat.
HINTS AND TIPS
• Only heat milk in the Milk Frother. Other ingredients, such as drinking chocolate, coffee
or sugar can be placed in the mug and the milk can be poured over the top.
• Certain types of milk, for example long life, can froth more than others, so your milk
may leak out - reduce the amount of this milk next time you heat it.
• Rinse the jug as soon as you have finished using it and it will be easier to clean.
• If you are making two or three frothy drinks at once, make one amount of hot milk
using just the paddle and divide between the mugs. Then add the whisk and make an
amount of frothy milk and divide that between the mugs.

Possible cause
Solution
Milk and froth spills out through
the lid.
Too much milk has been put into
jug.
Make sure milk in the jug is below
the maximum fill lines.
The jug will not switch on.
The jug may not be sat properly on
the base.
Check the jug is sat correctly on the
base and check power is on at the
socket.
TROUBLESHOOTING
The following are some common problems that can occur when using the Easy Clean Milk
Frother. Please review the problems, their possible cause and any corrective action that
should be taken.
TO MAKE COLD MILK FROTH
You can froth 150ml of cold milk in less than 2 minutes.
1. Plug in the Milk Frother and switch it on at the socket.
2. Make sure the Milk Frother is filled to at least the ‘MIN’ mark, and no further than the
‘MAX FROTH’ mark inside the jug, or the motor will burn dry or over flow through the
lid.
3.
Press the on/off button and hold for 2-3 seconds.
The whisk will start to rotate and
the button will illuminate
BLUE,
to show it is frothing cold milk.
4. The light will go out and the whisk will automatically stop when your frothed milk is
ready.
WARNING
Ensure the lid is fully closed before switching on. Do not open the lid when milk
is heating, scalding may occur if the lid is lifted.
Do not touch any moving parts whilst in use. Always switch off the appliance
and wait until the whisk has stopped rotating before you open the lid.
Remove the Milk Frother from the base to fill or pour. Pour slowly and do not
over-tilt the Milk Frother.
