INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
The machine must be filled with coffee and water and your mug must be in
place before you plug in and switch on the machine.
1. Fill the travel mug or your own mug with cold tap water.
2. Lift the lid using the lid handle and fill the water tank with the water from your mug.
You may need to hold the lid open.
WARNING: To avoid the risk of burning or scalding from hot coffee or steam do not use
more than 375ml of water or fill beyond the ‘MAX’ mark inside the tank. Always use a
minimum of 150ml of water.
3. Place the empty travel mug or your own mug onto the tray. If using the travel mug,
take off the lid first. If you are using a shorter mug, take care as hot coffee can splash
out of the mug when brewing through the machine.
4. Put the filter basket into the brewer with the tab on the
left. It will sit neatly inside.
5. Take the filter, add 15g of ground coffee. You can add
more or less according to your taste, but always use a
minimum of 6g and a maximum of 20g per mug.
6. Put the filter into the filter basket with the tab on the
right. It will sit flat neatly inside.
7. Close the lid.
8. Plug in and switch on at the socket.
9. Switch on the Coffee On The Move by pressing the On/Off switch.
10. Press the ‘Brew’ button to start brewing, the button will illuminate. The light will go
out whilst your coffee is filtering through. Your coffee is ready when it has finished
filtering into your mug. You can then remove it.
11. Add the lid to the travel mug to keep your coffee warm.
12. Press the On/Off switch to turn the Coffee On The Move off.
13. Switch off and unplug at the socket.
