Setup
Operating Instructions
The Alu Quad Par 64 is a DMX-512 controllable, full RGBW/RGBA colour mixing Par Can made up
of high efficiency and super bright 8W LEDs. There are two four colour groups (RGBW and RGBA)
whose intensity can be controlled individually allowing the creation of an unlimited range of
colours.
The Alu Quad Par 64 will operate in Stand-alone, Master/Slave, Sound activated and
DMX-512 control modes.
Operations:
There are 5 different operation modes to choose from:
1) Static colour mode 2) Built-in programme mode 3) Sound active mode
4) DMX mode
5) Master/slave
1). Static colour mode
By pressing the
“MODE” button under the LED display, the LED display will show “C01”, then you
can select one of the 30 static colours using the
“UP” and “DOWN” buttons.
2). Built-in programme mode
Press the
MODE button until the LED display shows “P01”, now use the “UP” and “Down”
buttons to select one of the 6 built-in programmes. For the built-in programme list, please see the
built-in programme chart over leaf.
3). Sound active
Press the
MODE button until the LED display shows “S01”, the unit will then run in Sound Active
mode. Select the sensitivity level from 00 - 99 via the
“UP” and “Down” buttons.
Please note: The higher the value the more sensitive it will be and is set to “S50” as default.
4). DMX mode
To access any of the 4 DMX channel modes, press the
MODE button until the LED display
shows
“3CH”, now use the “UP” and “Down” buttons to select either the 3, 5, 7 or 8 channel
DMX modes. The DMX values and functions are as follows over leaf.
To set the units address, press the
MODE button to show “001” on the LED display. Now use the
“UP” and “Down” buttons to set the desired address from “001” to “512”.
5) Master/slave mode
To set the unit into slave mode, set the slave units address to
“001”. The slave unit(s) will now
follow in sequence with the master unit.
To set the unit as a master simply use any of the above modes.
