Performance

The C 717 is all about treading lightly and leaving a 

small  carbon  footprint.    Featuring  a  high  effi ciency 

switch-mode power supply and Class D output stage, 

the C 717 is 40% more effi cient than an ordinary linear 

amplifi er.  Combine this with 1W standby consumption 

and  you  have  a  very  effi cient  path  to  audio/video 

enjoyment.  Its conservatively rated amplifi er can drive 

high  quality  speakers  to  satisfying  loudness  levels 

while using a minimum amount of electricity.

NAD  takes  a  different  view  than  most  brands  when
