Before you begin
Inserting the SIM card

SIM card holder. The card holder is glued in the quick guide
and can be removed easily. The SIM card has been broken out
of its holder already.

Note:
Keep the SIM card holder in a safe place! You will need the data
printed on this holder if you ever have to contact the
NAVIGON
Service
Centre for assistance.

Removing the SIM card
1. .Switch off the navigation device. Do this by briefly pressing the
(
On/Off
) key and then tapping on the Switch off button.
2. Press the memory card gently into the device until the lock
disengages.
Note:
If the SIM card is not correctly inserted, it may be impossible to
establish a connection to the NAVIGON server. In this case the
NAVIGON Live
services will not be available.
Note:
If no connection can be established to the
NAVIGON Live
server,
you can perform a modem test (see "NAVIGON Live modem check" on
page 117).
Note:
Do not remove the SIM card except for an important reason.
Removing and reinserting the card frequently may impair the card's
function.
