FLUSHING, CONDITIONING, CLEANING AND SANITIZING PROCEDURES (continued)
B. Reservoir Flushing
WARNING - Failure to follow these
procedures will affect water treatment system
performance and void the warranty.
Clean the inside of the reservoir with a mild soap
solution.
Rinse thoroughly with filtered water.
Mix a solution of 3 ml (1/2 teaspoon) of 5%
sodium hypocholoite to 3.78 liters (one gallon) of
water.
Wipe down the inside of the reservoir with the
solution.
NOTE: Gloves should be worn during this
procedure.
Rinse the reservoir with filtered water.
Completely fill the reservoir with filtered water.
Drain the reservoir through the faucets.
Drain the water from any applicable tanks.
Reservoir is now ready for use.

Recommended
Service Intervals
To insure the system operates at its optimum level, certain routine
maintenance must be performed.
Frequency of maintenance performance will depend on feed water
quality and level of system usage.
CLEAN: Each time filters are replaced.
SANITIZE: At least once a year and each time membrane is
replaced.
Replace filters every 6 to 12 months depending on
feed water quality.
