Caution: In order to avoid a hazard due to inadvertent reset-
ting of the thermal cut-out, this appliance must not be sup-
plied through an external switching device, such as a timer,
or connected to a circuit that is regularly switched on and
off by the utility.
17. The appliance is not for outdoor use.
18. Always examine appliance, cord and plug for damage before
use. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by
themanufacturer,orhisserviceagentorasimilarlyqualified
person in order to avoid a hazard.
19. For additional protection the installation of a residual current
device (RCD) with a rated residual operating current not ex-
ceeding 30 mA is recommended. Ask your installer for advice.
20. The appliance is for domestic use only.
21. If the appliance is used for other purposes than intended, or
is it not handled in accordance with the instruction manual,
the full responsibility for any consequences will rest with the
user. Any damages to the product or other things are not
covered by the warranty.
Before use
Before using the popcorn maker, read the instruction manual thoroughly and
save it.
Use
Unpack the appliance and remove packing material. Wash up the little black lid
and the big plastic lid in warm water and washing-up liquid.
Do also clean the stirrer and the coated bottom with a slightly moist cloth. Wipe
with a dry cloth. To make the cleaning easier, remove the stirrer by unscrewing
the knob in the middle. Replace the stirrer and make sure it’s positioned properly
before replacing the knob.
Never immerse the power cord, the plug or the housing into water or other liquid.
Place the popcorn maker on a steady, dry surface.
Pour vegetable oil and grain of maize in the bottom of the popcorn maker. Do not
add more oil and grains than recommended. Spread the grains over the whole
