13. The appliance should be handled with care, as the
knife is very sharp! Do not touch the knife while
it is operating. Be careful that neither fingers nor
accessories get into contact with the knife!
14. Always examine appliance, cord and plug for
damage before use. If the supply cord is damaged,
it must be replaced by the manufacturer, or his
service agent or a similarly qualified person in
order to avoid a hazard.
15. For additional protection the installation of
a residual current device (RCD) with a rated
residual operating current not exceeding 30 mA is
recommended. Ask your installer for advice.
16. The appliance is for domestic use only.
17. If the appliance is used for other purposes than
intended, or is it not handled in accordance with
the instruction manual, the full responsibility for
any consequences will rest with the user. Any
damages to the product or other things are not
covered by the warranty.
Before use
Clean the mini chopper (see section Cleaning) before you use it for the first
time.
Use
Position the motor part on an even surface. Put the bowl on the motor part and
turn anticlockwise until the bowl engages on the motor part. Position the knife
on the shaft in the centre of the bowl.
Add the ingredients to be chopped. Put on the lid and turn anticlockwise until
it engages. The built-in safety lock makes sure that the appliance cannot be
activated if the lid is not correctly positioned (which means that the lock on the
back of the lid is completely engaged in the groove under the switch button).
The mini chopper is only for small portions as shown in the table below in order
to get the best result and to make sure that the appliance is not overcharged:
