Connections
Touching the three horizontal
dots next to Connections brings you to the
connections screen. If DMP’s outputs are
connected to non-authorized PS Audio DACs
through I2S, this screen will show “none” for
connections.
If connected to an authorized PS Audio DAC or
DACs, and those DAC’s I2S inputs have been
selected, DMP will display the type of DAC
(DS or DSJ) and the DAC’s unit ID number,
indicating it has been recognized as an
authorized PS Audio DAC capable of achieving
the secure handshake and reproducing DSD
from the stereo or multi-channel SACD layer
when selected.
Levels
An upcoming firmware upgrade for DMP will
add another menu options labeled Levels. This
screen set will permit DMP users with multiple
connected PS Audio authorized DACs to
adjust individual volume levels for DACs One,
Two or Three, where DAC One (Right, Left,
Front) connected via I2S becomes the master
volume control, and DACs Two, and Three
(Left, Right Rear and Center, Sub) connected
