GENERAL INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
ATTENTION
READ THESE INSTRUCTIONS
CAREFULLY BEFORE ASSEMBLY
REQUIRED TOOLS AND MATERIALS:
Screw Driver, Adjustable Wrench, Pipe Wrench, Pipe
Sealing Compound, Matches.
PREPARATION:
1. This Gas Log set must be INSTALLED IN A FULLY VENTED
METAL OR MASONRY FIREPLACE WITH A WORKING
FLUE THAT IS SAFE FOR BURNING A WOOD FIRE. The
Flue MUST BE FREE OF ANY OBSTRUCTIONS.
2. Turn off gas supply to fireplace.
3. Clean fireplace floor of any ashes.
4. Attach damper clamp over edge of fireplace damper blade as
shown. When installed properly, damper clamp prevents accidental full
closure of damper. If unable to install provided damper clamp,
consult IMPORTANT INFORMATION on front page of these
directions.

STEP ONE: Burner Pan and Grate Positioning.

1. Place
GRATE
inside
firebox as far to the rear as
possible. Center GRATE left
to right.
2. With open edge facing out,
place BURNER PAN beneath
grate
with
leading
edge
approximately one inch forward
of GRATE front legs.
3. Mark positions of GRATE
and BURNER PANon fire
place floor with pencil. Remove
from firebox.

STEP TWO: Burner Pan Assembly.

DESIGNED OR CONVERTED TO BURN PROPANE/LP GAS

Apply pipe compound to threaded end of 3/8" BURNER PLUG (A). Opposite from gas supply, thread BURNER PLUG ( A )
into BURNER P I P E ( B )
2. Wrench tighten LOCKING
ORIFICE HOLDER (D).
3. Thread O R I F I C E SPUD
Wrench tighten.
4. Apply pipe compound to
