Defrost function
• For toasting frozen bread, press the defrost button : the defrost
symbol will appear on the screen.
• Select the desired toasting level and depress the loading lever.
Extra time for toasting will automatically be selected in order to
defrost and then toast your bread. Once the cycle is engaged
the remaining toasting time will appear on the display.
• At the end of the cycle, the bread will pop up and the toaster
will switch off.
• Leave the bread in the slots for approximately 30 seconds
before removing it.
Waffle or crumpet or brioche toasting feature*
• Insert your crumpets, your waffles or your slices of brioche in
the toaster.
• Press the “waffle/crumpet/brioche button”. The LED comes on .
• Select the desired toasting level and press the bread loading
lever down until it locks.
• The remaining time for toasting slightly your waffles, your
crumpets or your slices of brioche will appear on the display.
• At the end of the toasting cycle, the bread will pop up.
Bagel/baguette function*
• Insert your bagel or your baguette, cut in half, in the toaster with
the cut sides facing the central divider.
• Press the “bagel” button. The LED will turn on. Select the desired
toasting level and press the bread loading lever down until it
locks.
• The browning time will be adapted on the selected browning
level and will appear on the display.
• At the end of the toasting cycle, the bread will pop up.
If the bagel is too heavy, lift the lever up manually to
remove the piece of bread.
Reheat function
• For reheating toast (fixed short time), press the “reheat” button:
the reheat symbol will appear on the display.
• Depress the toasting lever (you don’t need to select a toasting
level). The appliance will function for a preset period of time
and will show the remaining toasting time on the screen.
• At the end of the cycle, the bread will pop up and the toaster
will switch off.
