9. Safety precautions
The unique balance ability of T-ROBOT may bring overconfidence to you. Under some conditions beyond the
balance capability of T-ROBOT, such as running on an obstructed, bumpy, sludgy, slippery, soft or stony road surface,
steep gradient or a stairway, T-ROBOT could lose balance and cause crash, rollover and injury just like other vehicles.
Therefore riding T-ROBOT also has risks. Carefully reading the instructions and warnings can help you minimize the
risk but cannot totally avoid it.
Read and observe the following instructions to help you minimize the risk:
1.
Read all the user materials, thoroughly check if each component is secure or loose to ensure your safe riding.
If any problem is found, contact the dealer in time.
2.
Don’t let anyone unfamiliar with T-ROBOT ride it unless he/she has already thoroughly read all the user
materials, and received the training authorized by our company.
3.
Wear helmet. A helmet must be worn when you ride the T-ROBOT. The helmet belt should surround the chin
and be fastened to protect your entire head. It is also suggested that you wear other protection equipment
complying with national standards.
4.
Avoid running on an obstructed, bumpy, sludgy, slippery, soft or stony road surface, steep gradient or a
stairway to prevent risks. You can get off and shut down the vehicle and then push or pull T-ROBOT to a safe
area for re-start.
5.
T-ROBOT increases your height (when standing). In some places where there is a restriction on height, pay
attention to the influence of the added height on you.
6.
Always be cautious when making a turn. Rapidly turning the handle might cause an overquick steering and
therefore lead to unbalance of T-ROBOT, resulting in crash, rollover or injury (more attention should be paid
for high-speed riding). Please slow down the vehicle and then slowly turn the handle for a steering and lean
your body reasonably to keep stable.
7.
Don’t ride T-ROBOT to make a turn on a sloping ground.
8.
T-ROBOT is specially designed for the fore-and-aft balance. No guard is designed for transverse balance.
When passing a slope or taking a turn, you should lean your body reasonably to keep transverse stability.
9.
Don’t risk on an unfamiliar land form. You can get off and shut down the vehicle and then push/pull
T-ROBOT to a safe area for re-start.
10. Don’t wear loose clothing, which could get stuck in your tires and affect your operational flexibility.
11. T-ROBOT is specially designed for single ride. No other persons or pets are allowed to be carried.
12. Don’t use any place other than T-ROBOT accessory case for storing articles. Nothing is allowed to hang on
the handle when riding to prevent losing control and causing accident.
13. Make sure that all the articles in the two accessory cases are distributed uniformly in weight and fixed so as to
prevent the articles in the cases moving when the vehicle runs at a high speed.
