Battery insertion
1. Open the battery compartment on the bottom of the unit.
2. Remove the old batteries and insert 2 x AA/ LR06 batteries (alkaline batteries
are recommended) into the battery compartment, following the correct
polarities marked inside.
3. Replace the battery cover.
Note: The battery can last for three years. For optimum performance, the battery
should be replaced when the battery low indicator blinks
on the display.
Precautions when using batteries
1. Replace only with the same or equivalent type of battery.
2. Ensure you follow the correct polarities when installing the batteries (see marks in the
battery compartment). Reversed batteries may damage the unit.
3. Exhausted batteries must be removed as they may leak.
4. Dispose of batteries properly according to environmental regulations.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Connecting the power supply
Insert the AC power cord plug into an AC 230V ~ 50Hz mains outlet. The clock
time will automatically be set correctly. All you need to do is to slide the DST
switch to the “ON”for daylight saving time in summer or“OFF” position for winter.
Press the ON/ST.BY button to turn on the unit. Press it again to go to standby
mode.

If a power failure occurs and
the clock back up batteries are flat or have not been
inserted into the unit, you can set the time manually.

In standby mode, press and hold the TIME SET button and the hour digits
flash.
2. Press the
/
button to set hour and then press TIME SET to confirm.
3. The minute digits will flash. Repeat above step to set minute.
Dimmer function
To adjust the display brightness, slide the DIM switch to 1, 2 or 3. At position “1”,
the volume dial illumination will be off.
Alarm operation
The unit allows you to wake up by buzzer, radio or
USB.
In standby mode, press and hold the AL1/AL2 button
and the hour digits flash.

button to set hour and then press AL1/AL2 to confirm.
2. The minute digits will flash. Repeat above step to set minute.
3. Then, press the
/
button to select the alarm mode: radio (
), USB

) or buzzer (
). Press the AL1/AL2 button to confirm.
