2.2.3 Safety labels

2.3 Basic information
2.3.1 Use of the machine
The F-550 brush cutter is made for removing stalky grass stands during dormancy up to a maximum height of 80 cm both on
maintained
as well as unmaintained land and naturally seeded trees
with a maximum diameter of 1 cm in forest and meadows. The
mowed area must be generally level and free of solid objects in the vegetation. The F-550 brush cutter is not designed for grass
landscaping.
Alternate use of the machine for a different purpose should be considered undesignated use!
The machine may operate at any incline as determined by the engine manufacturer provided that the operator is able to safely direct the
machine.
Protective devices meet EN 12733 standards. These standard foremost consider operator safety, who under normal operation cannot
be struck with stones or other objects ejected by the machine’s rotating system. As such, the operator must always be located in the normal
driving position, i.e. behind the machine and firmly grip the handles.
Removal of protective devices and machine covers is prohibited!
