Panel Mounting
The X-Series LCD Monitors can be mounted to any flat surface. The surface may be at an an-
gle from full vertical back to full horizontal. The dimensions are shown below. The overall size
of these products are the smallest of any comparable product available in the world today.
The X-Series LCD is delivered with a 1:1 full size mounting template to assist in proper location
and in cutting the correct size hole. It is made to exalting tolerances utilizing 3-D CAD software.
Please use the template provided. We strongly recommend that this be done by a qualified ma-
rine electronics installer with every effort made to maintain exact dimensional integrity. Doing
so will allow for a trouble-free installation and maintain the sealing capabilities designed into the
bezel without the need for additional sealing materials. We understand that sometimes the sur-
face is not perfectly flat and that it may be necessary to supplement our gasket with a gap seal-
ant. We recommend that the sealant be a “polyseamseal” type. This will insure that the seal
can compensate for changes in temperature, and also can be easily cleaned and re-applied
should the LCD need to be removed from it’s mounting location.
The cutout for the LCD includes 8 mounting holes. The back of the bezel has stainless stelll
threaded M4 studs approximately 3” long. Included with the unit are self-locking stainless steel
nuts and flat washers. Use one washer on each stud and then tighten down the nuts (7mm nut
driver). Do not overtighten!

Wiring Connections
The LCD uses fully sealed connectors and cables. The connectors are located in the bottom
rear of the chassis. The connections are physically unique to insure making the proper
connections. Use care when inserting and securing connections.
